Program Description / Purpose: The purpose of SED projects is to provide financial assistance at the village level or for village-specific projects aimed at improving a village's governance capabilities and for social and econonmical development.
Program Requirements / Restrictions: Eligible entities include: Federally recognized Indian tribes in Alaska; Alaska Native Villages and/or nonprofit village consortia; Incorporated nonprofit Alaska Native multi-purpose community-based organizations; Nonprofit Alaska Native Regional Corporations/Associations in Alaska with village specific projects; Nonprofit Native organizations in Alaska with village specific projects.
